Craig Atkinson is one busy man. Aside from running the amazing Cafe Royal publishing imprint, he is also organising a huge zine fair in lancashire this weekend. It takes place in the SU of central lancashire uni. The line up looks great, and includes one of our favourite new additions to the collection, Preston is my Paris, as well as zineswap regulars Cheap. Learn more here.

One from the archive
Mosquitoes, Elephants, Mountains and Molehills from zineswap on Vimeo. We received this zine at our launch night back in 2008. It’s by Bart de Baets, an exceptional artist and designer from the Netherlands. This is beautifully printed, and the content—ranging from short stories to photo-narratives—is very engaging. What’s quite nice about this zine is that it manages to avoid...

. THE ARCHIVE So here is our •new• filing cabinet. We got it in exchange for an old bicycle frame which was covered in rust. It looks like much of that rust has now somehow transferred itself back onto the cabinet. Anyway, top draw = swaps and display copies, bottom draw = alphabetised archive.

Pere Saguer—Collection
. Pere Saguer is a regular over here at zineswap. We have had a number of beautiful zines from him over the last few months. Trying to find out more about this prolific guy, I found his photostream on flickr. Not sure if this is his personal collection, but what a fantastic reference. Have a look. EDITOR
NEW EDITOR Allow us to introduce you to Zineswap’s new editor, Alex Moshakis. Alex will be helping us with all things ‘wordy’. He’s got words for every occasion, sometimes too many, but that’s another story all together. He’ll be helping us with this blog, and also with an exciting new project that we’ll be announcing very soon. More from him soon, or if you can’t wait, here. ROB
